2015. .GRATITUDE REPORT . . . . . . . . united way of the lewis and Clark area Increasing the organized capacity for people to care for one another in Lewis and Clark, Broadwater, and Jefferson counties. PAGE I 1 UNITED WAY OF THE LEWIS AND CLARK AREA GRATITUDE REPORT 2016 FROM THE PRESIDENT looking outward Living in the tri-county area as spring begins reminds me how pleasant life can be. At the United Way of the Lewis and Clark Area, we know by pooling our resources— both financial and personal—we can make life more pleasant for everyone. To better understand the current and evolving needs of people in our community, I am proud to say that the United Way board and staff are increasingly looking outward. We are revamping traditional activities like allocations to make them even more responsive to the needs of our stakeholders from donors like you to our partners in the nonprofit and for-profit community. Importantly, we are engaging in new activities to make certain that we are connecting donor dollars with effective solutions to community challenges. This is a very exciting time to be involved with our local United Way. Staff and volunteers are leading collaborative efforts that connect resources to health, education, and prosperity needs in our community. Through this work, the United Way and partner organizations are creating a thriving community for everyone.
