Application Requirements for Research Associate/Research Assistant
Essential: Applicants are required to hold M.Phil or Ph.D in Political Science, Economics or Public Administration
Desirable: Proficiency in written English and application of statistical softwares such as SPSS, STATA etc. Past
experience as Research Assistant/Associate.
Application Requirements for Field Investigators
Essential: Applicants are required to hold M.A. or M.Phil in Political Science, Economics or Public Administration
Desirable: Skill in collecting and creating database with accuracy.
Work Description:
Prospective Research Associate, Research Assistant and Field Investigators are required to assist in the Project work,
field visits and data collection. Candidates should be highly motivated and demonstrate a flair for team work along
with commitment and sincerity at the work place.
Pay: As per ICSSR guidelines (Rs. 16, 000 for Research Associate, Rs. 13,000 for Research Assistant consolidated
amount per month and not exceeding Rs. 1,000 per day to Research/Field Investigator). No TA and DA will be paid
to those who appear for interview.
DURATION: The duration shall be of 15 months beginning from 7 Dec 2015 or till the completion of the project
whichever is earlier. However, initial appointment will be for the duration of three months, extendable to full duration
based on the performance in the first three months.
