Congratulations to Our Summer Readers
Congratulations to everyone who participated in our 2015 Every Hero
Has a Story Summer Reading Program! We had a great turnout this
year with 444 registered participants of all ages. Young participants were
entertained throughout the summer by storytellers, musicians, magicians
and our first ever Portable Planetarium! Adults enjoyed the first KJM
Library murder mystery program this summer with a medieval theme called Knight of Murder. It
included full costumes and generous donations from area businesses.
The KJM Library would like to thank the area businesses who helped make the summer program a great
success! These businesses include Subway, Waterloo Community Pool, Piggly Wiggly, Jim’s Cheese,
Schumann Chiropractor, Soular Pizza, Stubby’s Bowl, Crave Brothers Farmstead Cheese, In Harmony
Massage LLC, Waterloo Antiques Mall, Waterloo Chiropractor, Trek, Hartwig’s Waterloo Diner, and
McKay Nursery.

Bridges...a New Library
System and Catalog!
The public libraries in Jefferson County
will be switching to Waukesha County’s CAFE library automation system and will be joining Waukesha County as a new two county library
system named Bridges in December!
The new shared catalog will grow to 2.3 million items and will offer
many new features to enhance your library experience!
To accomplish this change as smoothly as possible, we had begun the
transition process on AUGUST 28, 2015. No system holds on items
owned by libraries in Dodge and Washington Counties are possible.
However, items owned by those libraries can be ordered through interlibrary loan.
We appreciate your patience and understanding while we take the steps
necessary to make this improvement. Take a sneak peek at the catalog
