The Bible Explorer (BX) Programme teaches the Bible from Genesis through to
Revelation. Biblical stories are ‘walked through’ 7 or 8 lessons and learned through
hand-signs, each sign representing a key feature of Biblical history.

BX Malawi
BX Malawi has reached a total of 4,900 children in 28 different schools. It’s hoped
that 50 schools will be involved in the new academic year. This includes 1,960 children,
who come from Muslim backgrounds. An additional motorbike to help teachers access
outlying schools (local roads are challenging) will be needed to fulfil this goal.
4 teachers are trained to teach the programme. 3 more are in training.
Schools include Chikuluti, Chitiwiri, Chimweta, Kapira, Kambwiri, Maganga, Makande,
Kaphatenga, M’tunthama, Lungumadzi, Chagunda, Katitima, M’goza, Chipoka 2, Thugulu,
Napache, Kapiri, Chipoka 1, Ngolowindo, Simaewa, Chigombe, Chikombola, Salima LEA,
Kaputu, Karonga, Msalura, M’tumbira, Kaphatenga.

BX UK
BX has been taught in 15 schools, reaching 450 children. This has been achieved by 4
volunteer BX trainers, introduced to the ministry by Chris Knott, Chairman of Starfish
Malawi and a BX presenter and trainer.
