Please put out your yard waste
by 7:00 a.m. on day of pickup
You may also take your Yard Waste to a dumpster located at our City Public Works Facility,
at One Lincoln Street, 8:00 a.m.– Noon Monday thru Friday Year Round Excluding Holidays
and 8:00 a.m.– Noon Saturdays & Sundays Memorial Day to Labor Day

The City’s LEAF VACUUM MACHINE only picks up
CLEAN LOOSE LEAVES and PINE NEEDLES.
Leaves are to be at the curb line or on shoulder — not in travel
lane and not blocking fire hydrants
Do not place any type of foreign materials, such as: lumber,
stones, bricks, branches, any type of garden or flower bed
stalks, etc. in with the leaves. If any such items are found to be
present, the leaf pile will not be picked up. Any materials
other than leaves can cause personal injuries and damage the
leaf vacuum. A separate fee will be charged for such items.
Picked up weekly.
(May 15 – September 30 No loose leaves or loose pine needles — see year round disposal methods above.)

CHRISTMAS TREES
Loose at curb — natural, no tinsel or decorations. Remove stand.
Because plastic bags are incompatible with composting, yard waste in plastic bags will not be collected.
Call City Hall at 227-4641 for special pickups, to obtain City Yard Waste containers and for more information.
