SUMMER NURSING BOOT CAMP
The JFK, Muhlenberg, Harold B. and
Dorothy A. Snyder School of
Nursing offers a unique one week
intensive program for rising high
school juniors and seniors that
features cutting-edge research, the
latest advances in virtual learning,
and clinical experience in an area
hospital.
Working with the School’s faculty
and classmates from around the
world, students will enjoy an
innovative classroom curriculum
that covers health-care topics such
as current epidemics, genetics,
bioethics, maternal/child and
emergency nursing.
Students will then shadow real
nurses and visit many units at local
hospitals. The program uses stateof-the-art classrooms, advanced
simulation laboratories, and
intelligently designed space where
students can connect, engage and
exchange.

The School’s Nursing Summer Nursing
Boot Camp is exclusively for high school
students entering grades 11 and 12.
Admission decisions are made as
applications are received, as long as
spaces are available.
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
Two letters of recommendation from a
guidance counselor and current or recent
teacher. A personal statement of why you
want to attend this program.
