Trina has worked as a registered nurse
at Oakwood Healthcare for more than
a decade. She saw ABC’s Extreme
Weight Loss and knew she was
destined to be on the show. She
wrote an impassioned letter to host
Chris Powell requesting his help in
losing weight and, knowing how
stressful the nursing profession can
be, she took her application one step
further by suggesting help for some of
her peers as well. Trina was selected
as an official participant on the show
in 2012 and has been on a journey
with six of her colleagues ever since.
Trina has persevered through many
challenges along the way and is
motivated to achieve her goals
because of her desire to help and
inspire others. She is also encouraged
by her husband and three children
and she looks forward to being a
healthy role model to other nurses,
caregivers and anyone who wants to
live a healthy life while balancing
many other responsibilities.
