Massoud Barzani is the only President for Kurdistan Right Now
(The current political divide in the Kurdish Parliament has the potential to cause tension and
instability in the Kurdistan region. This is why the most appropriate mechanism to squelch these
issues, and preserve stability and security in the region, is to extend the presidency of Massoud
Barzani. He is the most suitable candidate for the position, because he is a historic Kurdish
personality and the respect he garners could be a binding factor for Kurdish society.)

Kurdish region no longer possesses a legal president
(While President Masoud Barzani was in a meeting with the French President François Hollande,
discussing the Kurdistan Region’s booming economy and democracy, his Kurdistan Democratic
Party was in another meeting with Jalal Talabani’s party, Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, breaching the
laws and violating the most basic principles of democracy in their effort to extend Barzani’s
incumbent term for another two years. However, a surprising development occurred when a few of
the PUK’s Politburo members and the KDP agreed, in a clandestine meeting, to postpone extending
Barzani’s term until August 19, 2015, and to extend the Parliament’s term to be continued till
November 1, 2013.)

Reversing immigrant tide: more iraqi kurdish return home, than leave
(The economic crisis in Europe, combined with improving economics and security in Iraqi Kurdistan,
is seeing former refugees and other migrants come back home. But are these factors also stopping the
region's dreaded brain drain and its youth from leaving?
Only eight years ago it was Hazar's dream to be able to immigrate to Europe. To him, the West was a
secure and imaginable heaven. Using people smugglers, and travelling a dangerous route, the young
Iraqi Kurdish man managed to make his way to France. Which is why it seems all the more strange
that after eight years in “heaven”, Hazar is now returning to a place he once thought was hell.)
