EUCHRE TOURNAMENT

The next euchre tournament will be held on Saturday, June 24 .
Dinner will begin at 5:30 p.m. and euchre tournament begins at
6:00 p.m. Stop in for a great deal for only $5.00, which includes
euchre and dinner. If you cannot play in the tournament, the
dinner can be purchased for $5.00. Stay and have a tasty adult
beverage afterwards. Hope to see you there!!
Father’s Day Breakfast
Please mark your calendar to bring all Fathers/Grandfathers

to the lodge for breakfast on Sunday, June 18 , prepared by
the WOTM. Adults -$6.00; Children 4-12 -$4.00.
Under 4-FREE. Served from 9am-11:30am. DON’T MISS IT!
Luck Of The Draw Dart Tournaments
We will start having a Luck Of the Draw Dart
tournament every Friday. $5.00 entry fee with a $1.00
for the mystery out. Signups will start at 7 and dart will
fly at 8pm. First one is June 2nd.
LOOM MEMBERSHIP DRIVE
The lodge will be offering a free year of dues when you pay 2
years in advance. This must be done at the lodge. This will
give you a chance to save $60.00 and not have to worry
about getting the reminder in the mail. Please make checks
to: LOOM #1469 in the amount of $120.00. Put checks in
LOOM’S Mailbox.
Moose International Convention
This year the Moose International Convention will be held in

Steak Fry
Start off the summer cookout season and come to the lodge
for a steak, chicken or shrimp dinner from 5-7:30 on

Saturday, June 10 . Good cooks and great food!
Moose Feathers Time Change!
Tasty Tuesday
Tasty Tuesday for the lodge will be held on Tuesday, July
th
11 . We will be serving our “famous” Fish & Fries at the
lodge from 5-7 PM.
Fish & Fries will also be served at Pride Park from 5-7:30 PM.
If you would like to help cook, serve or set up for this event,
please sign up at the lodge or contact an officer. Please
come out and support this event!
Moose Feathers will continue being played on Saturday’s,
but will be starting at 4 PM. in the social quarters. This will
continue each Saturday so come out for a good time with
good company!!!

Thank you to the men who cooked for the Mother’s Day Breakfast and
provided flowers for the Mothers/Grandmothers. We had a great time at the
Derby Day party thanks to the “jockeys” and Mike Brown as “Emcee” of the
event. Sandy Schanding was the lucky winner of the “Run for the Roses” blanket
handmade by Tina Sharp. Thanks Tina! Although it rained on our first summer
cookout, the chefs prepared the steaks, chicken and shrimp to everyone’s taste.
Thanks to Tim Sawyer, Tim Gaines and Harry Klumpp for “getting it done”. Hope

the weather holds for our next steak fry on Saturday, June 10 . Come rain or
shine – the LOOM will be cooking.

WOTM Column
I would like to start off by saying I apologize for the absence of this column from
last month’s newsletter. I would also like to thank all the ladies that have helped
collect money for the fish fries during the Lent season. Another thanks goes out
to Barb Klumpp and Sandy Schanding for all of the help with this transition over
to being your new SR Regent. I honestly would not be able to hold this position
without them. We are looking for ladies to cook some Tuesday night dinners. If
you are available on the first Tuesday night of a month and would like to cook for
all of us hungry members, please let an officer know. It does not have to be the
next month, you can sign up to do a dinner later on in the year or the early
months next year. We are also looking for teams of 2 ladies to collect money at
the Steak Dinners throughout the summer months. If you are interested in
collecting money for these dinners, please let an officer know. We have quite a
few events happening this year. If you have an idea for a fundraiser, please write
these ideas down and place them in the WOTM mailbox located in the social
quarters. We are always looking for more fun things to do together as a Moose
Family. Let’s make this a fun and exciting year. Thank you.
