California Educational Theatre Association’s
High School Theatre Festival
The California Educational Theatre Association exists to promote and advocate for the highest standard in
curriculum, teaching, learning, scholarship, production and accreditation criteria from elementary through
university level theater education, and to cooperate with other organizations to support education in general.
Cast Biographies

Support Westview Theatre!
Cady Delay (Police Officer): Cady began participating in Westview Theatre as a Freshman
appearing and tech-ing in To Kill a Mockingbird and then as a balloon-popping fairy in the
one act For Sandwich Lovers Only . She hopes to audition for Improv this year. Cady plays
on the Westview Volleyball Team and enjoys 80’s movies, manga, and drawing whenever
she is not studying.
Sophie Cobarrubia (Police Officer): Sophie is a freshman here at Westview. She has loved
acting since she started in second grade, and has been singing since before then. She loves
everything that has to do with theatre, and hopes to someday go into acting as a career. She
can’t wait to spend her next three years working with Westview Theatre Company!

Jessica Frenkel (Susy): Jessica, a Westview senior, feels so blessed to be able to work on this
show with such a dedicated cast. Some of her favorite roles include Scout in To Kill a Mockingbird (Westview), Babe in Crimes of the Heart (Westview), Patrice in 13 (FAOPA), and
Little Red in Into the Woods (FAOPA). Jessica would like to thank Chris for this opportunity
and her family for their love and support.

Hunter Saling (Roat): Hunter has been part of Westview Theatre since his freshman year
with Wait Until Dark being his ninth show with the company. He is very excited to be in the
show and hopes to continue acting as a career in the future. He enjoys the occasional dessert
and long walks on the beach.

Lucas Bennett (Talman): Lucas has performed with Westview Theatre since his entrance into
high school. Involvement in past shows has spurred his passion for acting. He once again
enjoyed working with and learning from Westview Theatre.

Dylan Kawalec (Carlino): Dylan is 17 years old, has been musically performing since age 12,
and dramatically performing since the beginning of 9th grade. He has directed a district
acclaimed play, performed in Improv shows, and has been acting for 3 years. He would love

Ava Fakhrabadi (Gloria): Ava is a junior at Westview. She has performed in the ensemble
cast of: Curtains, The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie, The Drowsy Chaperone, and Inherit the
Wind. She did costumes for Inherit the Wind and is also the crew head of costumes for Wait
Until Dark. She loves acting and tech-ing and is planning to continue to do so with the Westview Theatre Company.
