Nausea/Vomiting before and after 13 weeks of pregnancy: You should try to eat frequent, small meals (3-6 per
day). Drink liquids between meals instead of with foods. Avoid foods with strong odors and those that are
fatty, fried, or spicy. Before getting up in the morning, eat a few crackers and a handful of dry cereal or piece
of dry toast. Before going to sleep at night, eat a light snack that includes both carbs and protein. At night,
you can also have Emetrol or Unisom (1/2 tab) with 50 mg of Vitamin B6 and you may repeat 1/2 tab of
Unisom with 50 mg of Vitamin B6 in the morning and again at 4pm if needed. C-Bands/Relief Bands wrist bands
may also be helpful. Ginger capsules 340 mg three times per day may also aid with nausea and vomiting.
