EVERY WEEKDAY IS A HAPPY DAY CAMPAIGN
TERMS & CONDITIONS
CAMPAIGN PERIOD
“EVERY WEEKDAY IS A HAPPY DAY Campaign” shall run from 3 October – 31 December 2014 (both dates
inclusive) (“Campaign Period”)
ELIGIBILITY
1. Subject to the Clause 2 below:
i.
Selected Principal Cardmember(s) of Maybank Visa, MasterCard and American Express
Credit Card(s) issued by Maybank Malaysia who received the campaign invitation to
participate through electronic Direct Mailer (eDM) and short messaging service (SMS).
2. The following persons are NOT eligible to participate:
i.
American Express Charge Card(s) issued by Maybank Malaysia;
ii.
Visa, MasterCard & American Express Credit Card(s) not issued by Maybank Malaysia;
iii.
Maybank Visa, MasterCard & American Express Credit Cardmember(s) who is/are in
default of facilities granted by Maybank at any time during the Campaign Period,
subject to Maybank’s sole and absolute discretion;
iv.
Employees of Maybank Cards Marketing Department, Advertising and Promotion
Agencies and their immediate families.
THE MECHANICS
3. Invited Cardmembers will receive the following SMS from Maybank:
a) Invitation message
Spend min.RM2K on Mon-Fri w/yr Credit Card.30 X RM100 to be won monthly.SMS register,
PRM<space>12-digit IC No. &send to 66628.Promo ends 31/12.T&C apply
b) To participate, Cardmembers will need to register via SMS as follows:
 Type: PRM<space>12-digit NRIC No. and send to 66628. (e.g. PRM 791231041234)
c) Upon successful registration, Cardmembers will receive a reply message as follows:
MBB: TQ for your participation.This campaign is by-invitation only.Qualifying spend can be
in single/multiple receipts on Mon-Fri.T&C@ www.maybank.com.my
4. Eligible Cardmember(s) are required to meet the qualifying retail spend with any Principal
Maybank Visa, MasterCard & American Express Credit Card(s) during the campaign period to
stand a chance to win RM100 voucher on monthly basis.
5. The qualifying retail spend criteria is minimum RM2,000 in single or multiple receipts spent on
weekdays (Mondays to Fridays). The qualifying retail spend shall be calculated from the start of
participation via SMS registration.

6. All qualifying retail spend criteria refers to any retail transactions, i.e. local, overseas and
online, and not valid for new or existing Balance Transfer, EzyCash, Cash Treats, Auto PayBills,
unbilled instalments under existing EzyPay/EzyPay Plus, finance charges, late charges, annual
fees, Membership Rewards fee, Turbo fee and/or any other fees/charges.

7. Winner selection process is based on the achievement of the qualifying retail spend, eligible
Cardmembers will be shortlisted by Maybank’s randomizer programme
8. In addition to the compliance with the terms and conditions of herein contained, only successful
enrolments of the Maybank Products effected through all Maybank Visa, MasterCard & American
Express Credit Card(s) during the campaign period is eligible for this Campaign.
PRIZES
9. 30 monthly winners will be selected in the month of October, November and December 2014.
10. Maybank will notify the monthly winners of the Campaign by SMS within 3-4 weeks from month
end.
11. Maybank shall not be liable for any risk, loss or damage to the prizes upon handover of the
prizes to the Winners. Neither shall Maybank be liable for or obligated to recognize or replace
defective, damage or stolen prizes.
12. Upon meeting the qualifying retail spend criteria, the eligible Cardmember will be entitled to
win and receive a minimum of 1 X RM100 voucher per month.
13. All voucher will be delivered to Cardmember within 3-4 weeks from month end.

15. The prizes are not transferable and exchangeable for up-front cash or credit of any kind,
whether in part or in full.
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
16. By participating in this campaign, the Cardmember agrees to be bound by these terms and
conditions.
17. The records of transactions maintained by Maybank and the selection of Winners by Maybank
shall be final and conclusive. No other correspondence or claims by the Cardmember shall be
entertained.
18. Maybank reserves the sole and exclusive right at it sole discretion to vary, delete, amend or
modify any of these terms and conditions of the campaign with 21 days prior notice. These terms
and conditions may be modified, amended or varied by Maybank and provided to Cardmembers
through channels short messaging service (SMS) and electronic direct mailer (eDM). Maybank shall
not be liable for any and all loss or damage suffered or incurred by the Eligible Cardmember as
a direct or indirect result of the cancellation, variation, amendment, termination or suspension.

19. Winners are required to attend the prize presentation ceremony and/or other publicity programs
at their own costs and expenses at the time and venue stipulated by Maybank for the purposes
of collecting their prize.
20. Maybank reserves the right to publish and display the names and addresses of Winners,
photographs of Winners and audio and/or visual recording for any mass media or marketing
materials for advertising and publicity purposes without compensation subject to the consent of
the Winners.
21. Prizes are neither transferable nor exchangeable. The Winners shall not be entitled to any cash
compensation, benefits or substitution in any form whatsoever in lieu of the Prizes. However,
Maybank reserves the right at its sole discretion to substitute any of the Prizes with some other
prize of like or equal value within Twenty One (21) days prior notice.
22. By participating in this promotion, Cardmember is obliged to refer to the direct communication
from the Bank for the terms and conditions and to ensure that they are kept-up-to-date with any
changes or variations made to the terms and conditions.
23. Maybank reserves the right to forfeit the Prizes awarded if the Winners fail to comply with any
of the terms and conditions herein.
24. Maybank reserves the right to withdraw, cancel, suspend, extend or terminate this Campaign
earlier in whole or in part, or to vary, delete or add any of the terms and conditions herein at
any time at its absolute discretion with Twenty One (21) days prior notice via maybank.com.my
or any other channel or channels that Maybank may deem as suitable.
25. All Winners shall abide by the terms and conditions imposed by the party arranging for and/or
providing the prizes and the terms and conditions that are attached to the prizes, if any.
26. In no event shall Maybank nor any of its officers, servants, employees, representatives and/or
agents (including without limitation, any third party service providers engaged by Maybank for
purposes of the Contest) be liable to any person participating in this Contest for any direct,
indirect, special or consequential loss or damage (including, but not limited to, loss of income,
profits or goodwill) arising from or in connection with this Campaign.
27. These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Malaysia, and all eligible
Cardmembers who participate in the Campaign shall be deemed to have agreed to submit to the
exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysian Courts by participating in this Campaign.
