Don’t worry, as you can download the same course as many times as you want and it will only ever take one course credit. However, the main issue it getting the course onto the unit. I would suggest to follow the start-up guide, You can by pass the registering stage as you have already done this. The distance readings are incorrect. Can I change this? Yes you can and it’s very simple to do. When you are on the golf course/hole you wish to change, ensure that you have a gps signal as otherwise you will not be able to correct the distances. This will be a fixed, not flashing, symbol in the top right hand corner of the screen. Let us say you want to correct the "Front" distance on hole 5. Make sure hole 5 is displayed shown (shown in the bottom left) and hold down the "PAGE" key until "999" starts to flash. Press up or down arrow until "Front" is displayed in the orange box. Then when standing at the front of the green press enter and select ok (ensure “Ok” is highlighted in green). This distance should now show as "0" and correct for future use. To stop editing press "PAGE" or press up/down to select "Back" or "Centre". Simply repeat the process to correct other distances or map a full course. Alternatively, contact us and we’ll be happy to having the mapping checked I already have software version 1, do I need the update? Yes you will nolonger be able to download course.
