An Atlas Book is a collection of different types
of maps and other cartographical, geographical
or astronomical information grouped in a book.
The main objective of these Atlas is to
represent the accessibility of the 15 onshore
blocks of the Lower Congo and Kwanza Basins,
namely: CON1, CON4, CON5, CON6, KON2,
KON3, KON4, KON5, KON6, KON7, KON8, KON9,
KON11, KON12 and KON17.
They have
information such as relief, hydrography,
administrative boundaries, geodesic marks,
population density, roads, land covers, and
others. The data type featured in these Atlas
includes images and thematic vector layers,
which convey information about the ground,
aimed to help in creating an effective work plan
in the block.
