Safety is of the utmost
importance. Wesley Kids
follows the Albuquerque Public
Schools “Delayed” and “Closed”
schedule. If Albuquerque Public
Schools is not in session,
Wesley Kids will follow the NM
State Schedule for Albuquerque workers when there
is a delay or inclement weather.
Wesley Kids will open at 10:00am when there is a
delay.
Parents should listen to TV or radio stations for
information on the Albuquerque Public Schools or
the NM State workers for Albuquerque. Parents can
also sign up with the KRQE text alert at
http://krqe.com/text-alerts/ to receive messages
when Wesley Kids has a closure or delay.
Wesley Kids will also try to leave a message on the
schools answering machine and updates on our
Facebook page.
Wesley Kids cannot be held responsible for weather
related closures, “Acts Of God”, or any event beyond
our reasonable control that results in a closure.
We have a text messaging
system that we use to help us
communicate with you by
keeping you informed about
events, closings, and
emergencies.
You will receive text messages from
505-227-8495.
Please do not reply to the text messages,
as there are charges associated with this
service. If you reply it is sent to a e-mail
that is not checked and we are unable to
reply back.

Milky Way
Theme of the Week: Family
During the next two weeks we are
learning about “Our Families”. We will
talk about who is in our families and how
many people there are. We will also talk
about how families consist of different
people.
In art we are making and painting a
family tree.
During story time we are looking and
reading the book “Who’s Your Family”.
We are also making a book for the
children to see with all our families
pictures in it called “Our Family
Members”.
In music we are dancing and singing the
songs “The Family Song” and
“Families”.
