BDA Production Datacom Upgrade 24 – 25 October 2015

The JSE is planning a mainframe Datacom upgrade over the weekend 24 and 25
October 2015 in the environment which BDA operates.
Environment(s):
BDA online will be available for business as usual until 12h00 on Saturday 24 Production
October and the upgrade is scheduled to take place from 13h00 – 18h00. After
which the JSE will conduct internal testing to ascertain if the change was
successful.
Additional Information:
Irrespective of whether the upgrade is rolled back or not, BDA will be made
available on Sunday 25 October between 08h00 and 10h00 for user testing.
Although this is not a mandatory test we urge Members to assist with spot checks
to ensure the BDA system is fully operational.

The testing would entail accessing enquiry screens in BDA TRMCICS and B5ACICS, Issued By:
downloading files from FTP and IDP.
