Manifolds and Filter Holders
Our company has been present in the micro-filtration business since
1959. Trough over 50 years of daily contacts with the users we have
acquired an outstanding expertise with their application needs
especially when it is necessary to carry out a number of multiple
analysis in a short time.
Our long established know-how and experience led to the project of a
series of manifolds suitable for all requirements of today’s laboratories,
reliable and flexible at the same time.
Result of this project is the filtration Manifolds SpeedFlow described in
this catalogue with all accessories and various additional components
available for a simple and handy use.

Different base sizes of Manifolds
The SpeedFlow Manifolds (shown on the left
side), are available in four different sizes:
1, 3, 4 and 6 places, modular-typed and
completely dismounted for the cleaning.
Mounting is also possible according to user’s
choice among various branches shown on page 5.
- The assembling of 3, 4 and 6 places manifolds
usually can be done with branches of the same
type, but it is also possible to do on request a
mixed mounting when you place the order, or
even after the purchase if one different
application will be required.

- The construction material is polished Stainless
Steel with handles in anodized aluminium. One
handle is fitted with a hose barb Ø 8, 12 and 16
mm for different diameters of vacuum hoses and
the other one is fitted with a stopper. The liquid
discharge horizontal tube does not include
internal stairs, in order to avoid some stagnation
of liquid that may cause rot and smell bad.

Seven types of branches in polished SS
are available as above shown. Each Branch
is supplied with a tap to close the vacuum
or for other requirements (see page 4).
The tap is made in PTFE with a SS lever.
Branch for KMx-N manifold, at page 7

Universal – On this branch conical
shaped only complete filter holders are
mounted.
To fit these, it must be used a silicone
#8 stopper having one hole suitable to
the stem of the filter holders.
Branch for RAx-S manifold, at page 6

This mushroom shaped branch with
conical polished inner part is equipped
with a PTFE gasket and a Ø 50 mm disc
in sintered SS.
Universal - This branch accepts funnels
of various capacities compatible with
Ø 47 or 50 mm membranes.

net.

This mushroom shaped branch with
conical polished inner part is equipped
with a PTFE gasket and a Ø 50 mm disc
in sintered SS.
Different glass or SS funnels of various
capacities for membranes with Ø 47 or
50 mm can be mounted upon this branch.
An aluminium clamp (item 249170) is
used to fix some funnels.
This accessory provides a physical
separation on two filters which have
been set up in series, for example:
one prefilter and one membrane.
Both accessories are fitted with a
standard clamp (item 249170).
