The Masada Challenge
This trimester the
administration decided to
give Masada Jr. High a
great challenge. First we
were split into teams A, B,
C, D, E and, F. The goal
was to see which team
could get the most
missing assignments
turned in. So we started
Wednesday night and
ended Friday at 5 pm. The
results turned out that
team F came in first with
267 assignments done.
nd
Team E came in 2 with
258 assignments, team D
rd
3 with 253 assignments,
th
C 4 with 242
assignments, team A with
235 assignments, than
finally team B came in last
place with 196
assignments. The results
came out that Team E had
the best percentage and
Team F had the most
assignments turned in
making both teams
winners of the
competition. All of the
teams did really well, but
need to be grateful that
we got this opportunity.
We need to realize that all
of the teachers worked
hard on marking off the
assignments. We may not
get this chance again this
year. So it was a good
thing that who ever took
advantage of this
opportunity did. This
trimester lets all stay
caught up and not get so
much missing
assignments.

Inside out
As I sat at my kitchen
table eating a chocolate
and being myself I took
the biggest one first
thinking that it would be
the best. But once I bit the
chewy flavored chocolate
it was hollow inside. Thus
it was the least of all of the
chocolates. This brought
me back to a memory of
mine back when I was in
collage.
Thinking back I laughed
at it knowing how stupid I
was. The memory that I
had kept for years taught
me a lesson I will never
forget but pass on to my
children to help them out
in their lives.
Like all of the kids I was
looking for a girlfriend and
like always I was going
after all of the goodlooking ones. Well one
day in lunch period I came
across this very attractive
girl and asked her out on
a date late that evening,
She accepted. Later after
that this girl quite
unattractive with glasses
and braces. She was
obviously was having a
liking to me. And asked
me out on a date. I said
no rudely and to leave me
alone. Continued on page
6.

The Blond
Haiqu
There once was a girl
named lovie, who always
wanted a puppy. She went
to her dad and acted so
sad. And now she is very
happy
This guy was driving on
the freeway. When all of
the sudden he saw a car
swerving all over the
place. And was going wild.
So after a while someone
called the cops with their
cell phone. The cop pulled
the car over and a blond
rolled down the window.
She said, “ I am so glad
that you are here officer. I
saw some trees in the
road so I had to swerve to
miss them. It was so
scary. The officer looked
at where the blond was
pointing and he said “
mam those are your
airfreshinners.
Hillary Clinton
There was a plane and it
was going to crash, and
there was the world’s
smartest scientist, the
world’s smartest teacher,
Hillary Clinton, An old man
and, a little girl. And there
are only four parachutes.
The scientist says “I am
the worlds smartest
scientist so I get one”. So
he takes a parachute and
jumps off. Then the
teacher says, “I am the
worlds smartest teacher”
so he takes a parachute
and jumps off. Then
Hillary says, “I am the
worlds smartest president”
so she grabs another
parachute and jumps off.
The old man says that he
doesn’t have much time to
live so the girl could go
ahead and take the last
one. The girl says, “Its all
right Hillary took my
backpack”.

Inside out ……continued
And so it goes that I
married my date. And now
am sitting here with no
wife barely paying my rent
in an apartment. One day
I came across an article in
the newspaper
announcing “ Elba May,
Lansing a former
secretary for the American
Heritage Bank has now
got a job as a singer and
is surprisingly good.” If I
would of gone out with
that nerd than look at what
I would have had.
This taught me to not only
look at the outside of a
person but to also look at
the inside of them.
