College of Nursing Scholarships Definition: College of Nursing (CON) scholarships are provided to the CON by way of endowed and non-endowed contributions by alumni, corporations, foundations and other benefactors. Eligibility: Need, merit based and other particular criteria are available (see below). Awarding policies can be subject to change from year to year, based on availability of funding and College of Nursing priorities. Amounts: Vary from scholarship and annual contributions. Typically awards vary from $500-3,000 for fall and spring terms. Please note that scholarship awards are not made in the summer terms. To apply: Must complete as CON Scholarship Application accompanied with an essay outlining educational goals and philosophies by the dates outlined on the CON Scholarship Application. Please note: only one application is required to apply for all of our scholarships. Based on this one application we will determine which scholarship(s) best fit you and your needs. A FAFSA is not required for all scholarships but is helpful in determining financial need. Only completed CON Scholarship Applications will be reviewed.
