What a year so far. We had another great Leads Breakfast at Bailiwicks in Elbridge. They were wonderful hosts to nearly 40 of us including some new members and first timers. For those of you that didn’t make it, Bailiwick Market & Café is a great place to check out and it really isn’t that far away. For May we will be meeting at Mo’s Pit BBQ on Bennett Rd for our Leads Breakfast on May 10th. Please try to make it. Then our After Hours will be hosted by Lakeside Vista Restaurant in Marietta on Thursday the 24th. It is a lovely spot with a wonderful vista of the lake, and only about 10 miles from the Village of Camillus. It is sure to be a great time and place for networking. Also try to stop in at Solvay Banks, Fairmount Office, Open House on May 12th, 11 am to 2 pm. Please check our website for more upcoming events. It is a great resource for all of us. We are still bringing in new businesses as members. That should be wonderful news for all of us. Camillus Park News & Events Bring your family and friends to the first of the monthly tailgate parties, Friday, May 12, starting at 6:30 A local Classical Rock Band, “ECHO” will play oldies but goodies from the 60’s. Bring lawn chairs, a dish to pass, and, if you wish, adult beverages. The popular Splash Pad will reopen Memorial Day as well as a new, enlarged playground! On Friday, May 5, National Grid volunteers will improve the forest walking trails with new wood chips, trail lining and trail marking. Stop over and meet the volunteers. Lend a hand if you’re up to it! Wednesday, June 14, at 6:30 PM, Pickle ball play will begin. All are invited to join in the fun. This is the fastest growing older-adult exercise and so much fun and EASY to learn! They have spare racquets you can borrow while you learn. Historical Presentation by historian, Cheryl Pula. She was the pride of Germany, a hydrogen filled dirigible that carried passengers across the Atlantic in the 1930’s.
