State Raffle: Some tickets were turned in and the rest were reminded to bring them to the meet.
No supplemental medical insurance
2016 Committee Reports:
Awards: Jan & Angie Lbcc is not available this year so we are planning a date in Mat=y the
23,24,25 Jan will look into the open day and book. Kathleen will have dessert tickets at the third
meet for pre sale. $5.00 then $7.00 at the door.

New Business:
Scholarship Applications scored by District turn in at meeting or send to Art Plus Signs and
designs 1701 Geary ST SE Albany OR 97322 Katie Renner and another business person will be
judging. We will plan to let athletes know as soon as posable for school award nights.
It was voted to add $500.00 to the states $500.00 for 1st place and $500.00 for second place.
Senior Rose Fund raiser: Some have been pre ordered but we plan to order 150.00 and have
some on hand in the office.
State Flag Draw for Willamette Staulnakers: We will draw from All seniors at the May district
meeting.
State Drill order of draw Willamette Last for both. This also means we will be at the bottom of
the practice times as well.

North West Horse Expo Thank you to all who was able to help Checks should be going out very
soon to your schools.

Nominations for District Officers
Chair Wendy Bernards Vice Chair Sonya Kunkle The nominations remain open till we vote at
the May District meeting.
Meet event Changes: return to Kim by April 6th
Senior Grand Entry after gaming about 6pm Sat. Alumni can sign up in the office for
drawing to carry flags
District Fun night after grand Entry; It was talked about doing a dance off at state with south
valley so we want to learn something as a district at the third meet.
Schedule included note time change for drill start 6pm
Stall needs: Please return to Wendy and Katie for billing by April 6th
Event sign up: Great Job pitching in where needed. Still need more adults to show up for
Working Rancher
Eligibility Form signed by school beginning of competition week and turned in to the office
on Thursday
UNLOADING BEHIND STALL BARN ONLY NO PARKING AT ALL
TRAILER PARKING WIND SOCK GRAVEL AREA BY OUT DOOR ARENA.
NO PARKING BEHIND THE MAIN ARENA. Matt needs to unload cattle truck there
Handicap and office staff parking on side of main arena
Warm up arena will be open and have a practice jump available before jumping.
Drill warm up order: SAME ALL THREE MEETS Teams run their own music and gates
Drill music on CD only
Event Schedule/Conflicts: Jan Hull/Kim Burris
Event workers: Teams in charge of an event need to keep track of time for when it
needs set up. Make sure the workers sent know how to set up and have someone in
charge that knows.
NO approaching judges at any time unless you talk to Wendy or Sonya first.
All equipment for events will be in the small OHSET trailer closest to the office.
All jump equipment will come from the 4-H trailer and needs returned to the 4-H trailer.
Meet 3 needs 6 straw bales? Elain Schrock from Philomath with find and provide 6 straw
bales of hay.
All equipment needs returned and trailer doors closed.
4 wheeler, drag driver Central Linn all day. We talked about another school doing their 2
jobs on Sunday. Gate and scribe for Saddle Seat.

STATE MEET INFO
Stall order form went out need returned to Wendy/Katie Due back by April 25th after price
goes up.
Senior poster can be delivered to Wendy at Art Plus to take to the state meet or brought to
the state meet to be put up.
Make sure and let Jan/Kim know if you’re going to state by the end of meet 3 if you know or
soon after.
Look for future emails with event sign ups and very important deadlines for state
General schedule is included and on line.
State info on the OHSET web site. Reserve motels as soon as you can.
