Project Aim
The Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan Crude Oil Pipeline is intended to
transport crude oil produced in the Caspian Region and
mainly in Azerbaijan through a pipeline from Baku to a new
Marine Terminal in Ceyhan and therefrom to world markets via
tankers.
By this critical project, it is expected to construct a safe and
secure, economical and environmentally sound transportation
system for the exportation of crude oil to world markets.
The Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan Crude Oil Pipeline Project is also a
pioneer for new pipeline projects aimed at transporting
regional hydrocarbons to world markets.
