ALPINE CHRISTIAN SCHOOL DRESS CODE - Revised May 2013
How a person dresses reveals much about his attitude toward life, his
respect for himself, for others, and for the God he serves. A person’s
dress should never create an image, which competes with the person
who is created in the image of God. Calling attention to one’s self
unnecessarily through dress is not an acceptable part of Christian life
or service.
General Guidelines
For Girls
1. Hair should be clean and properly styled so that it does not hang
in the
eyes.
2. Shorts, skirts, skorts, capris or jumpers should be no shorter than 3
inches
above knee.) Optional: Lands’ End hunter/classic navy plaid
jumper or skirts. (only)
3. White Oxford Shirts or white Peter Pan Shirts may be worn under
jumpers only. NO TURTLE NECK SHIRTS
4. Sandals are not permitted. Shoes must have a back –No slide on
shoes.
5. Only soft-soled shoes are permitted on gym floor.
For Boys

Outerwear
Outerwear must not have inappropriate wording. This includes
advertisement of alcohol, tobacco, or activities that promote
gambling or immoral behavior.
Pre-K and Kindergarten Boys
1. Navy or Khaki pants and shorts with belt loops or elastic waist.
No manufacture logo’s.
2. Belts do not have to be worn.
3. Solid white, or any color polo knit shirts long or short sleeves.
4. Only school logo may be worn.
5. No screen-print not even the manufacture label.
6. Undershirts must be a plain white T-shirt
7. A.C.S. T-shirts may also be worn.
8. Shirts must be tucked in.
Pre-K and Kindergarten Girls

Gym Policy
All students in grades 1st –6th must wear scuff-resistant tennis shoes in
gym class.
