Lay 2 strips down 3" apart. Dab a generous amount of glue on the ends of third strip and lay across to join them together. Continue to desired length. Allow to dry. 2.Glue another layer of sticks to reinforce the first layer. Allow to dry. 3.Lay finished sticks across each other to form snowflake. Apply generous amount of glue. Allow to dry. 4.Run a bead of glue on tip of large pine cone where pine cone and craft stick will meet. Use wire to hold in place. 5.Add smaller pine cones. Use generous amount of glue wherever pine cones touch. This will be hidden when completing last steps. 6.Brush entire project liberally with gesso. Allow to dry. 7.Use brush to paint Instant Decoupage over areas where glitter is desired. Allow to dry. DIRECTIONS: 2.Lightly spray paint pine cone. Apply a dusting of paint on the edges, rather than all-over. Allow to dry. PINECONE GARLAND 3.Cut floral foam to fit inside pot. Glue in place. Allow to dry. SUPPLIES & TOOLS: 4. Brush edges of pine cone with tacky glue. Sprinkle with glitter. Allow to dry. •Sugar pine cones •Garland wire •Plaid ribbon •Gold jingle bells •Gold glitter glue •Scrapbook papers: music, 3 sheets; gold, 2 sheets •Brown auminum floral wire 4.Insert pine cone into foam; glue in place. Allow to dry. 5.Embellish pine cone with jewelry, buttons, chenille stems, pompoms or other embellishments. Glue in place. Approx. Crafting Time: 1-2 hrs 1.Bend pine branches in half. Tuck bare end behind greenery. • Tacky glue • Gold glitter • Scissors • Pinking shears • Hole punch • Wire cutters & round-nose pliers • Oven, cookie sheet, aluminum foil DIRECTIONS: 1.To harden sap on pinecones, place on an aluminum foiled-lined cookie sheet and bake at 250°F for 30 minutes. 2.Using wire cutters, cut garland wire to desired length; curl each end and attach to wall. 3.Wrap ribbon to cover garland wire. If desired add a bow at each end. 4.Medallions: Cut two 2"x12" paper strips; accordion pleat. Glue ends together to form ring. Cut 2 gold paper circles with pinking shears. Punch a hole in the center of each. Apply tacky glue to the backs of the circles & sandwich the accordion-pleated circle between them, aligning holes. Apply weight until glue is dry. Apply glitter glue to the edges. Cut 6" of brown wire & curl the end. Slip through the medallion holes; bend into a bobby pin shape on the back. 5.Brush pine cones with glue and shake on glitter. Allow to dry. Hot glue jingle bells at the stem end. Wrap brown wire around the bells; form the end into a hook. 6.Hook the pine cones onto the garland with the medallions between each. Approx. Crafting Time: 3-5 hrs 2.Cut aluminum wire and form a loop for hanging. Wrap the tails around the bent pine branches, securing them together. 3.Cut Naturally Wired from coil, being careful to leave some curl as it stretches. Attach a bell at the end and coil the wire to secure. Make 3 and secure them to the swag, just below the loop, with the bell ends over the greenery, and the bare ends extending beyond the loop. 4.Paint pine cone tips white. Let dry. Brush glue over the tips and sprinkle with clear glitter. Let dry. Wrap black paddle wire around the pine cone tops and attach to the swag from behind. 5.Tie a bow at the base of the loop and hang. Approx. Crafting Time: 1-2 hrs plus drying time • Black paddle wire: 26-gauge • Wire cutters • White paint & paintbrush • Tacky glue • Clear glitter
