Miss!Frankie!!
In!September,!we!will!be!very!sad!to!see!our!wonderful!Miss!Frankie!leave!some!of!the!branches!she!
currently!teaches!at.!The!good!news!is!that!Miss!Frankie!will!still!be!teaching!Acro!for!us,!both!at!Bourne!
End!for!Bucks!School!of!Dance!and!at!BCA!on!Saturdays!for!Pat!Steel!School!of!Dance.!Frankie!is!
expanding!her!adult!classes!and!wants!to!commit!fully!to!teaching!her!own!Adult!classes.!We!have!loved!
having!Miss!Frankie!as!part!of!our!team!during!the!past!9!years!and!will!be!sorry!to!see!her!reduce!her!
work!with!us,!but!wish!her!all!the!very!best!with!the!next!chapter!of!her!career.!We!thank!her!so!much!for!all!
the!wonderful!dances!she!has!created!and!particularly!for!her!dedication!to!the!Performance!Groups!whom!
she!has!coached!since!they!were!formed!3!years!ago.!Miss!Karen!will!be!joining!Miss!Sophie!and!Mrs!
Dance!on!Wednesdays!to!drive!the!Performance!Group!teams!to!even!greater!heights!!

In!September,!I!am!delighted!to!announce!the!appointment!of!Miss!Sophie!Coster!who!will!be!teaching!for!
both!Bucks!School!of!Dance!and!for!Pat!Steel!at!BCA.!As!we!already!have!our!very!own!Miss!Sophie,!new!
Miss!Sophie!will!be!known!as!Miss!Coster!to!avoid!confusion!!Miss!Coster!taught!at!Miss!Karen’s!Easter!
camp!and!we!were!very!impressed!by!her!teaching!methods!and!rapport!with!the!children.!She!is!a!fully!
qualified!ISTD!Ballet,!Modern!and!Tap!teacher,!and!will!be!taking!over!some!of!Miss!Frankie’s!classes.!

Choreography!Competition!
This!is!open!to!ALL!our!pupils.!Please!pick!up!an!entry!form!if!you!would!like!to!take!part.!The!competition!
takes!place!on!Sunday!May!7th!at!10am!at!the!Desborough!Suite!at!Maidenhead!Town!hall.!Spectators!are!
very!welcome!T!£2.00!on!the!day.!It’s!a!great!opportunity!to!see!the!talent!within!the!school!and!to!support!
our!young!dancers’!creativity.!The!winner!will!go!on!to!perform!in!the!Saturday!evening!Gala!show!on!July!
