Campers’ Tidbit: Lot #32...The Personable Parkers
If you are interested in meeting
one of the most rambunctious
couples at Cedar Lake, stop by Lot
32 and you are guaranteed to make
two great friends. True lovers of
Cedar Lake Campground, they
travel almost 3 hours EVERY
weekend to guarantee they will not
miss out on any of the fun events
including bingo, dances and, for
Charlie, any of the kid’s activities.
They definitely wouldn’t miss any
event that includes Greg’s
kettle-made soup.
Charlie is a true kid at heart.
He will not miss the opportunity to
get in touch with his inner child by
joining in on a water gun war or
bombing the horseshoe players
with water balloons.
Kathy may not have as much
energy as Charlie but she definitely
still has her spunk. Kathy keeps
Charlie in line and is always an
entertaining person to talk to. Shortly
after getting to know her, you will
learn about her love for Mickey
Mouse. If she doesn’t mention it, it is
quite obvious once you see her Mickey
Mouse themed golf cart! In addition to
her golf cart, she will have her trailer
decked out with Mickey Mouse
decorations for Christmas in July!
Kathy also doesn’t miss the chance
to come talk to any of the campground
employees. She is always filled with
stories about her youth, her camping
experiences and how her and Charlie
are spending their children’s inheritance by living their life to the fullest.
If Charlie isn’t playing with
the kids and Kathy isn’t playing
bingo, they are chasing around
their young cat, Cedar! You got it,
they even named their cat after
the campground! He is a little
spitfire which doesn’t surprise any
of us.
Stop by Lot 32 to meet two of
the most caring and entertaining
people at Cedar Lake. You are
guaranteed
to make two
great
friends.
