The Committee of the Whole recommends approval of the recommendation contained in the
following report of the Deputy City Manager, Planning & Growth Management, Director of
Development Planning and Senior Manager of Development Planning, dated February 2, 2016:
Recommendation
The Deputy City Manager, Planning & Growth Management, Director of Development Planning
and Senior Manager of Development Planning recommends:

That the following street name for the proposed street in approved Plan of Subdivision
File 19T-13V005 (Quadrant Holdings Inc.) as shown on Attachment #2, BE APPROVED:

Economic Impact
There are no requirements for new funding associated with this report.
Communications Plan

Purpose
To seek approval from the Committee of the Whole for a street name within approved Plan of
Subdivision File 19T-13V005 (Quadrant Holdings), as shown on Attachment #2.
Background – Analysis and Options
The subject lands shown on Attachment #1 are located north of Rutherford Road and west of
Bathurst Street, City of Vaughan.
The Owner has submitted a street name for approval for Street “A”, in approved Plan of
Subdivision File 19T-13V005 (Quadrant Holdings), as shown on Attachment #2.
The Region of York Transportation Services and Community Planning Department has no
objection to the proposed street name. The Vaughan Fire and Rescue Services Department and
Vaughan Development Planning Department have also reviewed the proposed street name,
which is considered to be satisfactory.
The proposed street name is consistent with the City’s Street Naming Policy and Procedures that
was approved by Vaughan Council on December 10, 2013.
The submitted street name is not the result of a charity fundraising auction/event.

The Region of York Transportation and Community Planning Department has no objection to the
proposed street name.
Conclusion
The Vaughan Development Planning Department has no objection with the proposed street name
for the street in approved Plan of Subdivision File 19T-13V005. Should the Committee concur,
the recommendation in this report can be approved.
