By an estimation Ice Cream China 2016
will take place on 35,000sqm exhibition
space.
Mintel’s report shows that China surpassed the USA to be the largest
consumption market of ice cream. In 2014 the global ice cream
consumption reached 50 billion US dollars in which China contributed
about 11.4 billion US dollars, about a quarter while it’s 11.2 US dollars
from the USA. Whereas Americans are still the No. 1 ice-cream-lover
and the annual average ice cream consumption in the USA is 18.4
Liters which is more than 4 times of China’s.

In 2014 the total amount of China’s ice cream consumption is 5.9
billion Liters and for the USA it is 5.8 billion Liters. Compared with
the situation 5 years ago, it is that China now has over 54% growth
however the growth of the USA is only 5.6%. By the estimation of
Mintel the growth gap between China and the USA will continue
enlarge. It is estimated that in 2015 China’s ice cream consumption
amount will reach 6.3 billion liters, generating a revenue of 12.54
billion US dollars and the USA’s will be 11.4 billion US dollars.
