Camper Packing List
What to bring to PEAK Kid’s Camp (Do NOT bring anything you are not willing to lose to theft – it happens!)
Please label everything.

Watch
•
Good backpack or duffel bag for all camper’s gear (you will get a little string backpack bag for carrying
around very light things during camp)
•
Sleeping bag, pillow w/ case (bunk-beds, sheets may not fit the unique mattresses which are very thick)
•
Soap, shampoo, toothbrush & toothpaste, deodorant (older kids please wear deodorant)
•
(2) towels – one beach size (for water slide), washcloth
•
Sunscreen (Spray sunscreen preferred. The higher the better! SPF 30+)
•
Water bottle (labeled w/kid’s full name) No camelback styles (will be stolen!)
•
Ball cap or another form of sun blocking hat (with a brim, covering) & sunglasses
•
Casual clothing for 4 days, 3 nights (shorts, jeans, include tasteful, body covering pajamas – no sayings
on them, i.e. “hotty”, “juicy”, VS – “pink”, etc.
•
Light, but significant, jacket (wind and water make kids cold!) Also it gets cold every night!)
•
Flashlight w/ fresh batteries
•
Full bible, pen & notebook
•
Spending $20 - $40, Snack Shack & Gift Shop are awesome! T-shirts, hats, hoodies, stuffed animals,
Icee drinks, sodas, ice cream. It is the main “hang out” during free time – good deals!

Disposable camera (no real digital cameras – will be stolen)
•
Good “hoodie” for cool evenings – Gift Shop sells them for $25
•
Good hiking shoes, athletic sandals, tennis shoes
DO NOT BRING THE FOLLOWING:

NO musical devices (i.e. IPods, MP3 players, CD players, etc.)

NO cell phones (they can call home using ours), smart phones, Blackberry’s etc. communication devices

NO tobacco, firearms, knives, explosives, alcohol, drugs, weapons of any kind, lighters NO hand held
electronic games or devices

NO laptops, I Pads, E-readers (Kindle/Nook), computers, DVD players, any form of electronic device
DRESS CODE:

This is a Christian camp – dress modestly! No cut-offs, spaghetti straps, bare midriffs, sheer or form
fitting clothing, muscle shirts, no short shorts, mini-skirts, no expensive jewelry (basic earrings,
watches, etc), leggings & spandex shorts NOT to be worn alone uncovered by shorts, etc. No Goth,
dark, black evil looking clothing. Good guideline on length of shorts: one dollar bill length above the
center of the knee). No suggestive pictures or statements.
