The closest airport is Rapid City Regional Airport, just outside the city, which is served by American, Delta, and United along with some smaller carriers just outside the city. The closest international airport is Denver International Airport, about 400 miles away. You could also fly to Omaha, NE; both Denver and Omaha have Greyhound bus routes to Rapid City; it takes 22 hours to reach Rapid City from Denver ($96) and approximately 12 hours from Omaha ($113).
