Getting There
I loved the place because it was
surrounded by nature, and I could visit a
lot of touristic places, and water parks. The place
was very peaceful, and the people very
friendly.
Talk with your employer about the best way to
reach your final destination. The closest airport is
Rapid City Regional Airport, just outside the city,
which is served by American, Delta, and United
along with some smaller carriers just outside the
city. The closest international airport is Denver
International Airport, about 400 miles away. You
could also fly to Omaha, NE; both Denver and
Omaha have Greyhound bus routes to Rapid City;
it takes 22 hours to reach Rapid City from Denver
($96) and approximately 12 hours from Omaha
($113). You might consider these options if the
savings on your air ticket is worth the long bus
ride.
