As the students’ elementary years come to a close, I can only express how grateful I have been to
have them as part of my life. I am super proud of all of them as they continue their path to becoming
lifelong learners. Media is defined as a way to explore the world around them and then present and
share that information with others in a variety of formats. I am confident, that they have the skills to
accomplish this goal. It is always hard to see them go, after, in some cases, seven years, but I wish
them all the best in reaching their future goals. It truly has been a pleasure!!
Music
We are working on student projects beginning in, with students having the option to create a music
video or research a composer.
Art
Art with Ms. Durrman will be taking a closer look at different cultures and traditions that relate to
making unique artwork. As the weather starts to get warmer we will be experimenting with blending
colors to create inviting landscapes.
