Clifton Tyler Goose Hunting Club is the most
experienced goose hunting organization in the
Texas Rice Belt. Clifton has lived in this area
all of his life. He has been guiding goose
hunters in the Eagle Lake and Garwood areas
for 40 years. Clifton's father, Marvin Tyler,
invented white spread hunting for geese.
All of his guides grew up hunting in this area. Most
of the guides are also involved in the rice
farming Industry.
Our guides inlcude: Bobby Marsalia Jr., Rod
Adkins, Mike Mangum, Dennis Sbrusch, Nolan
Blashke, Bobby Joe Marsalia Sr., Neal
Marsalia, Carl Thilenius, Paul Marsalia,
Kenneth Blair, Gary Blair, Michael Wiese,
Steve Almanza, Rex Mobley, Matt Sbrusch and
Clint Rawlinson.
The Clifton Tyler Club concentrates its hunts in the
Eagle Lake/Garwood area. All drives to the
morning hunts are no more than 30 minutes.
Our hunting club stresses QUALITY HUNTING.
We lease about 40,000 acres of rice land
scattered across Colorado County. This allows
us the mobility to follow the concentrations.
We can accommodate up to sixty (60) hunters.
Our minimum per party is four (4), with a guide
for EACH party. We do not mix parties. We
hunt daily from legal shooting time until noon.

call to Ida or Clifton Tyler, we can arrange all of
the following:

* Afternoon pheasant shoot or skeet
shooting

Four-wheel drive tractors are available for those
needing or requesting them.
