Week 1 Bible Study – How is your praying?
How would you say your prayer life is?
Are you happy with the amount you pray?
Are you happy with how much you hear back from God?
The bible is jammed with teaching on and references to prayer. Here’s a selection from the Old
Testament for you to look at. Too often we get everything second hand from preaching or Christian
books. Sometimes it’s great just to get to the source for yourself.
There are some classic passages below but also some less well-known morsels too. Read through
each of these verses and discuss:

Any instruction on how to pray.
Any explanation about why or what it may achieve.
What impacts you see about the prayer lives of the Biblical characters.
