Fall fashion tips
By Anna Caraveo
If you’re wondering
what is in and out of fall
fashion and beauty here
it is: The 90’s grunge is
a full fashion forward.
It is more of a polished
grunge look instead of a
trashy one.
This look includes
clothing
such
as
trousers that are slightly
distressed and oversized
sweaters. This fashion
statement is great and
you don’t have to do
much to get this look.
Leopard print is the
eye-popping print that’s
taking over this fall. You
can pair it with almost
anything and get that
nice classy look.
If you absolutely want to
set a fashion mark then
get with the military
basics! Get that classic
leather jacket and the
dark olive green with the
browns and blacks.
Your feet have to be
happy, right? So go with
boots this fall. Maybe
some combat boots or
maybe the classic leather
boots. Of course you can
go with the distressed
black or brown boot
too!
If you don’t feel like
doing anything in the
morning but still want
to be fashionable then
slip on a tie-dye t-shirt!
Tie-dye can never go
wrong.
Some other basics are
the boyfriend jacket and
maybe a pair of some
Oxfords.
Thats what’s in now
let’s move to what’s
OUT. UGG boots are
totally out. They should
not be worn.
Put them cowboy boots
away! They are dead! So
please do not get caught
dead walking around
in them. Take away the
skinny jeans and zippers.
These are two major
things that are burnt out.
Along with that, neck
ties are out.
FAKE is totally out!
Now you got the basics,
let’s move to beauty. If
you’re looking for the
right color of nail polish
you should either try the
blushing nail polish or
the pastels. To go with
that soft nail polish use
organic beauty products
such as foundation,
blush, eyeshadow, etc.
Natural look is very in
right now.
Bad hair days? I’m sure
it’s not that bad because
the natural, bouncy, airdried hair is the look.
If you want to dress up a
bit for the evening go for
a pop of color with that
natural make-up such as
red lipstick. Look sexy
and sleek without even
trying.
Since the natural look
is in for beauty you can
probably guess what’s
out. The neon nail
polish along with the
bob haircut. Do not do
acrylic nails. Fake is out
remember?
Tanning is definitely
old and worn out. Have
a NATURAL skin tone.
For hair that’s out,
ditch the bleach blonde
hair and go for a natural
color that compliments
your skin tone. Just
remember please FAKE
IS OUT!
and TV.
The financial literacy
class that Danette Floyd teaches is currently
studying needs and
wants in their class.
We asked a couple
of people in this class
what they thought. Paige
Liddell said,” A need is
a toothbrush and a want
is a cheeseburger”.
Kayage Minor replied
to this question with, “A
need is something you
can’t live without and
a want for her is being
able to dunk before
Jaleel can.”
Kyle Carrier stated,
one.”
Jaleel Downing thinks
a want is new clothes
when you do not need
them and a need is
transportation.”
Jake Mason said he
needs to weigh 140
pounds for wrestling and
he wants a chocolate
cheese muffin.
Anna Allen says, “I
need to grow taller,
but I want a prince
charming.”
The needs and wants
are evident in this world.
We’re living in a very
privileged society in
today’s day and age.
Things that annoy me
By Anna Maria Caraveo
Things that annoy me are:
*Ignorant people
*People who talk too much,
*People who act stupid when they’re
really not,
*High pitched voices,
*Yelling over nothing,
*People who talk behind people’s
backs,
*Gossipers,
*Racist people,
*Older sisters,
*Nosy people,
*The color green,
*Sushi,
*Country music,
*Being told what to do,
*People who smack their gum,
*Hannah Montana,
*Bossy people,
*People who back-talk me,
*Drama starters,
*When people give me evil looks,
*People who hate on nothing,
*People that think they’re funny when
they’re not,
*People who ignore me,
*Not getting my way,
*Conceited people,
*Camo,
*Preppy boy bands,
*Winter,
*Loud noises,
*Trains, and
*Creepy crawling things.

Students live in spoiled society
By Anna Maria
Caraveo
Do students really
know the difference
between a need and a
want?
There is a HUGE
difference between
needs and wants. For
example, you NEED
the necessary food
to survive but all the
snacks and junkfood
are not necessary. You
need water, not pop
and juice. Clothing
is necessary but you
don’t need everything
that is out and
fashionable.You need
family not fake friends.

Sleepless Dreams
Close your eyes,
It seems like a dream.
Experiences make us wise,
High school is your beam.
Night after night she screams,
She tries and tries but cannot wake.
In her sleepless dreams,
Nothing real is fake.
Take your first step inside,
Your life begins in these halls.
The rules you must abide
Between these high school walls.
She fears she is losing it,
She thinks she is going insane.
She tried every bit,
Her mind is in so much pain.
This is your first year,
So don’t be shy.
There is nothing to fear
So hold your head high.
She tries to clear her mind,
Her attempts are at fifths.
She doesn’t see this as a crime,
And awaits her sleepless death.
