Nominations are due no later than Wednesday, March 26th at 5 p.m.
to the CSIL Office in PSU 244.
Award Description
These awards recognize SEVEN organizations who have exemplified outstanding achievements
and organizational development among their peer organizations. Groups are eligible to apply
for only ONE category below. Nominations should include solid examples of the organization’s
achievements over the past year, how it “lived” its purpose/mission, and how the group
positively contributed to the University community.
Organizations will be awarded based on the following categories:*
• Academic
• Club Sport
• Multicultural
• Religious & Spiritual
• Service
• Special Interest
• University Funded Organizations (UFO)
For example – only special interest groups are eligible to apply for the Special Interest Category.
The winner of that category will receive the “Outstanding Special Interest Organization” award.
*Note: Fraternities & Sororities are not eligible for this specific award due to previous award
recognition at Greek Awards.

What you need to submit.
A nomination is a typed narrative describing the contributions of the individual or organization
you are nominating. The narrative should not exceed more than 500 words. An outstanding
narrative will reflect significant fulfillment of the award’s description and answer any additional
questions as outlined in the awards packet.
Submission Process
Please submit this cover page with your typed narrative along with any other supporting
documentation (ex. Flyers, photographs, new member packets, etc.) A professional appearance
of the packet is recommended, as well as any supporting documentation. All contents should
be paper clipped together (not stapled), with this cover page on the top.
