Front Page Newspaper- Lyddie Due Date: Thursday April 20, 2017 You are a writer for the local newspaper. It has been brought to your attention, by a young girl named
Lyddie, that working conditions in a nearby factory are unfair and inhumane. The majority of your front
page will cover Working Conditions and/or Factory Life based on facts from the novel, Lyddie. Your front page cover MUST include the following:
1. An original name for the newspaper
2. A large headline (title)
3. An article demonstrating the conditions Lyddie and her friends experienced (at least 300 words)
a. Two pieces of text evidence
4. Your opinion as a journalist of the factory conditions
5. 2 images relevant to your story
6. Author’s Name (you) and date
7. An advertisement relevant to the book
