observe feasts considered important. The
U.S. ecclesiastical provinces which retain
Thursday observance in 2009 are Boston,
Hartford, New York, Newark, Omaha, and
Philadelphia.

CATHOLIC SHARING APPEAL (CSA)
If you are holding a pledge card, please fill it out
and mail it in. If you would like to make an early
payment on your pledge, mail it to the office or
deposit it in the collection basket. Nothing beats
getting off to an early start in meeting your pledge

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul
is sponsoring an ongoing collection for Caring & Sharing of
South Walton. Especially needed are diapers sizes 3, 4,
and 5, and wipes; all personal hygiene items; toilet paper;
detergent; and of course, nonperishable food items that
have not expired, especially baby food; soups; peanut
butter & jelly; cereals, including oatmeal; canned fruits; and
high protein items such as tuna and canned meats. Please
avoid items in glass containers. A bin will be placed in the
MSSR for donations. Thank you for your generosity

Our Beautiful Blessed Virgin Mary was crowned
with a Flower Wreath by Ellie Herman and the
CCD boys as assistants…
A Mothers Day Blessing and beautiful silver medals were
given to all the Mothers by Father Kevin ;o)
Mother’s Day Picnic was a resounding success due to the
superb organizing and cooking of Bob Santos, Rene
Santos, “Chef” Dan Dowd and Jack Flaws. CTK Family
Members came through with awesome gourmet-type
desserts and a great time was had by the very large crowd
that stayed for the event!!!
