1) Take a picture of at least three people from your office decked out in black and gold. 10 points
BONUS: The picture includes at least five people in black and gold outside with umbrellas in
celebration of National Umbrella Month. (You can include people not from your office in this
picture.) 20 extra points
2) Snap a picture of your office decorated in black and gold. Please include people in your picture.
 20 points
BONUS: Your office’s black and gold trimmings have an African American History Month,
Women’s History Month, St. Patrick’s Day, spring or other seasonal theme. 20 extra points
3) Cheer on the UWM Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams as they go to glory at the Little
Caesar’s Horizon League Championship in Detroit, March 3-7. Make a sign (or multiple)
supporting the team or teams and send us the picture of at least two people from your office
wearing your Panther pride and holding the sign/s. 20 points
BONUS: Post a picture of your sign/s on Facebook, Instagram and/or Twitter, using
#blackandgoldspiritdays. 10 extra points
4) February 26 is the 89th Annual Academy Awards, aka the Oscars. Have at least three people in
your office make signs that say what film they think will win Best Picture and take a picture of
everyone holding the signs. 25 points
BONUS: Everyone in the picture is also eating (or holding) their favorite movie snacks. 15 extra
points
5) March 2 is Dr. Seuss Day (National Read Across America Day). Have at least three people in your
office dress up like characters from Dr. Seuss’s books and hold your favorite books. Please
specify what characters you are portraying. 30 points
BONUS: Create a poem featuring Pounce written in the style of Dr. Seuss. Make a short video of
someone from your office delivering the poem. 20 extra points
6) Winter means ice and ice means . . . .Walk Like a Penguin season. Take a video of at least three
people from your office walking like penguins and keeping safe on the ice. Check out this video
for inspiration. Ice optional.  20 points
BONUS: The penguins in your video have traded black and white for black and gold. 15 extra
points
7) Join colleagues in showing our embrace of diversity and inclusivity on campus and show off at
least three people in your office with a “Hate Has No Home Here” sign or T-shirt from the Center
for International Education. 30 points
8) You know who is ready for spring weather? The Panther statue who’s been sitting outside this
whole time, that’s who! Snap a picture of at least three people from your office celebrating
spring with the Panther. 20 points

9) Hey, hey! March 1-7 is National Cheerleading Week! Get outside and make a video of least
three people from your office sending up an original cheer for UWM. 30 points
BONUS: The people in the video are acting out your cheer. Please note: March is also National
Cheerleading Safety Month. Approach pyramid formation with caution. 10 extra points
10) The game is on! Celebrate Sherlock Holmes Weekend (March 17-19) early. Have at least three
people from your office get dressed in your favorite Sherlock gear and sleuth around campus.
