“A beautiful and clever, comic and thought-provoking balance between acting and movement” Artistic Director Adolphe Binder. / DAGENS NYHETER THEATRE AND DANCE PERFORMANCE BY ALAN LUCIEN ØYEN In Norwegian chorographer and director Alan Lucien Øyen’s exploration of the Peter Pan Syndrome, If we shadows have offended, the dancers will impress us also with their acting in a touching story about nostalgia, being lost and what it means to not grow up. “In the performance, we encounter a series of memories that crash into each other, as if in a kaleidoscope. The images succeed one another, nearly pushing one another away, to make space for one more memory. The recollections are portrayed by the dancers, who change and reappear. The dancers slip into and out of their roles, in and out of memories, the play and the stories.” Alan Lucien Øyen HOREOGRAPHY, DIRECTION, ALAN LUCIEN ØYEN C SET DESIGN AND TEXT CHOREOGRAPHY AND DANIEL PROIETTO ASSISTANT TO THE CHOREOGRAPHER DRAMATURGE AND TEXT ANDREW WALE CONTRIBUTIONS COSTUME DESIGN STINE SJØGREN LIGHT DESIGN MARTIN FLACK SOUND DESIGN GUNNAR INNVAER GUEST ARTIST KATE STRONG WORLD PREMIERE 14 March, 2015 GöteborgsOperans Danskompani Music: Michael Andrews, Dustin O’Halloran, Frédéric Chopin and others (Dialogue in English.)
