Sermon Questions for thought and discussion
- What are areas of your life that you need to accept as mystery or illogical?
Are there things in life or faith that you still wonder about?
- How do you allow room for God to be at work in your life? Are there any
rhythms that you follow? How do you intentionally grow in faith and
trust in God?
- In what areas of your life do you long for God’s transformation? What
areas are you afraid to let God change, or afraid to let go of control?
Looking back, how has God been at work in, changed, or transformed you
in the last 10 years?
Going deeper: Look up the other times Nicodemus appears in John. Note how
he reacts/acts in the end compared to the disciples. Read about some other
people Jesus interacted with, either in one short passage or over a whole
book, and note how meeting Jesus changed them. (Examples: woman at
the well, Peter, Paul, man possessed by demons, Thomas, etc.)

our Relationships
A building usage checklist has been compiled
for groups that use the AMC building. Please
note that this was not done in response to any
one particular group! This is just to insure that
everyone is on the same page as to what needs to be
checked after the building is used. When you reserve the
church, a checklist will be put in your mailbox. A copy
is also posted in the kitchen.
