How do you make a singular noun ending in a vowel plural?
For nouns ending in a vowel just add –s
el gato → los gatos
the cat → the cats
How do you make a singular noun ending in a consonant plural?
For nouns ending in a consonant add –es
el árbol → los árboles
the tree → the trees
How do you make a singular noun ending in z plural?
For nouns ending in z, change the z to a c and add –es
el lápiz → los lápices
the pencil → the pencils
