Teacher’s Conference
Gail, our Tlingit language and Culture teacher. Gail started moose stew
lunch last year as a thanksgiving treat and she has continued the tradition, lucky for us that the two events can be joined together and that the
entire community is welcome to partake. The entertainment begins at
11:00 am in the school gym.
Parent/Teacher
Interviews
Next Wednesday, Oct 17th and Thursday,
Oct 18th are scheduled for parent teacher
interviews. On both days the students will
be dismissed on hour earlier, at 2:06pm.
The bus will depart at 2:15pm on each of
these days. You will received a date and
time scheduled for your teacher meeting
either by email or notice home. If this time
slot doesn’t work for you please contact
Kelly. If you could confirm that you received
the email/notice home by sending Kelly a
quick email or call it would be appreciated.

Each year the PAC has made enough sales to earn 20% of the profits from
the annual book fair. This income is used to purchase books for the school library and classrooms for the benefit of our children. If our fair can bring in
$1600 we will earn a 50% profit on all sales. This is the goal of the PAC this year,
we hope everyone can help make this happen.
Atlin play group
APG is a Success By 6 sponsored group dedicated to bringing families of children ages
0 to 6 together for organized activities and social playtime. The program will start on
Tuesday Oct 30th and run Tues & Thurs at the Teen Centre from 10am - 12 and on Wed
at the school gym from 10am - 12.
The Atlin Play Group will kick it off with a launch party on Oct 27th at the Teen Centre
11am. There will be refreshments served and potluck desserts. Dress up in your
Halloween costume!
This is a family oriented program not a daycare or drop off facility.

Monday, Wednesday & Thursday, 3:30 6pm. All children 11 years old and up
are welcome.
Pac

It looks pretty colourful
The leaves are falling today.

Tomorrow the trees will have no leaves.

Falling Leaves
BY : Robyn McNeil
When all the leaves are gone
Fall is done
Leaves are falling off the trees.
Goodbye fall
The leaves are falling onto me.
Winter’s begun
When they fall it looks as if they are putting on a show.
They twirl and swirl so gently.
