W. T. G r a h a m of Red P i n e D r i v e , Kent City, i s expected
to r e t u r n home within the next week a f t e r s e r v i n g a
y e a r in V i e t n a m .
A
1964 g r a d u a t e of Kent C i t y High
School, he attended G r a n d R a p i d s J u n i o r College f o r one .
s e m e s t e r and w a s employed b y ^ t h e C o n s u m e r s Power
C o m p a n y b e f o r e enlisting in the s e r v i c e in N o v e m b e r , 1965.
He h a s been in Vietnam s i n c e l a s t J a n u a r y . He r e c e i v e d the Distinguished Flying C r o s s for action l a s t
April and m o r e r e c e n t l y w a s the r e c i p i e n t of the B r o n z e
Star.
He a l s o h a s the Air Medal with five s i l v e r leaf
c l u s t e r s which r e p r e s e n t 1,000 combat flying h o u r s .

b o r n at 11:01 a . m . on J a n u a r y 2 in G r a n d Rapids
O s t e o p a t h i c Hospital to be n a m e d the New Y e a r ' s
Baby of 1967. She was the f i r s t child of M r . and
M r s . David Hansen of 3721 R u s s e l l Avenue in
Algoma Township.
As she n e a r s h e r f i r s t b i r t h d a y . " Kwyn" a s she
i s called, i s a f a i r - h a i r e d , b l u e - e y e d b e a u t y wh6
k e e p s life i n t e r e s t i n g in the Hansen household.
She now weighs a p p r o x i m a t e l y twenty pounds
and h a s been walking f o r about s i x w e e k s .
With the a r r i v a l of the New Y e a r , she will r e linquish h e r title to the f i r s t b o r n of 1968 to
