The Most Holy Body & Blood of Christ
Dear Friends, This weekend we celebrate the Feast of Corpus Christi.
Corpus Christi is the feast of the Body and Blood of Christ. To mark the
Feast we will be distributing the Eucharist under both species, the Host
and the Chalice. We do hope that distributing the Eucharist in this way
will deepen understanding of the Feast we are celebrating.

Eucharistic Adoration Monday - Monday 10.30am-5.00pm and Sat. 10.30am-12.45pm. All
welcome.
Christian Meditation Group (Quite Prayer Group) next meeting will be on Wednesday 21st June
in the parochial house at 8.00pm. All welcome.
Tea & Coffee available in the Parochial House after 10.00am mass on Tuesday 20th June and
Friday 23rd June.
The Legion of Mary meets every Monday in the parish centre at 8.00pm. New members
welcome.
There are envelopes at the back of the church for anyone who wishes to make a donation to the
church. They can be put in the collection baskets or left in the parish office.
The Chalice on the table at the front of the altar rails is for people who are coeliac.
Society of St Vincent de Paul – Anyone in need of assistance call 8550022.

conference will be held after all masses this weekend. Please support.

Special Ministers of the Eucharist & Word – New rota available in the
sacristy.

Next Friday 23rd June is the Feast of The Sacred Heart. In preparation for the
Feast of the Sacred Heart Fr John McCarthy will conduct a Holy Hour on
Thursday evening 22nd June at 7.30pm. Fr McCarthy is a priest of the
Missionary of the Sacred Heart Order. Fr McCarthy will also preach at
10.00am mass Friday.

On Sunday 25th June at 3.00pm Rev Roy Byrne and Fr Michael will conduct a
blessing of pet’s ceremony in the Church of Ireland. Everyone is very welcome.

Legion of Mary are holding an afternoon of recollection for people with mobility
difficulties in St Joseph of Cluny secondary school, Killiney on Sunday 9th July
at 2.30pm. Transport is available.

Building Refurbishment fund collection will be held after all masses next
weekend.

Volunteers needed for World Meeting of Families 21 st – 26th August. Full
details at the back of the church.

Joseph Carthy church gate collection to support Nyumbani last weekend
