DIRECTIONS TO OUR OUTPOST ON THE PIGEON RIVER
You must check-in at our outpost on the Pigeon River 45 minutes before your trip time.
WE STRONGLY ADVISE FOLLOWING OUR DIRECTIONS AS GPS WILL OFTEN GET OUR CUSTOMERS
LOST AND OUT OF THE WAY. THIS MOUNTAIN TERRAIN IS NOT GPS FRIENDLY, TRUST US. . . OUR
DIRECTIONS WILL ALSO GIVE YOU THE BEST ROUTE TO AVOID HEAVY TRAFFIC.
We are looking forward to hosting you. You need to wear secure shoes (no “crocs”) and something to get wet

FROM GATLINBURG:
Take Hwy 321 North (starts at light #3, also referred to as East Parkway) and travel on 321 North until it T’s at
Hwy 32 (approx. 15 miles). Turn left on 32/321, travel approx. 1 mile and turn right on Foothills Pkwy. Travel
approx. 6 miles and bear to your right onto I-40 East (towards Asheville) travel to the next exit Hartford Rd
(Exit 447). Turn Left and we’ll be on your right. Rafting in the Smokies/Family Adventure is a log building
with a red tin roof. Only 45 minutes, allow 1 hour traveling time in case of traffic.
FROM PIGEON FORGE:
Look at our map and find your lodging location, then take the closest street to Veterans Blvd. Follow Veterans
Blvd. (away from Pigeon Forge) and travel until it ends. Turn right onto Dolly Parton Parkway/411, travel on
411 for approx. 18 miles until it ends. Turn right on 25/70 and take I-40 East. Travel approx. 15 miles to exit
447 (Hartford Rd). Turn left and we’ll be on your right. Rafting in the Smokies/Family Adventure is a log
building with a red tin roof. Only 45 minutes, allow 1 hour traveling time in case of traffic.
FROM SEVIERVILLE:
Look at our map carefully, as some cabins’ addresses say Sevierville but may actually be near Pigeon Forge. If
so, follow the directions above. Otherwise, travel East on Dolly Parton Parkway/411 (approx. 18 miles until it
ends). Turn right on 25/70 and take I-40 East. Travel approx. 15 miles to exit 447 (Hartford Rd). Turn left and
we’ll be on your right. Rafting in the Smokies/Family Adventure is a log building with a red tin roof. Only 45
minutes, allow 1 hour traveling time in case of traffic.
FROM KNOXVILLE:
Take I-40 East to exit 447 (Hartford Rd). Turn left, we’ll be on your right. Rafting in the Smokies/Family
Adventure is a log building with a red tin roof. Approx. 45 min to 1 hour depending on your location in
Knoxville.
FROM ASHEVILLE/MAGGIE VALLEY AREA:
Take I-40 West (towards Knoxville) and travel to Exit 447. Turn left, travel under the overpass, at the stop sign
we will be across the street on your right. Rafting in the Smokies is a log building with a red tin roof.
