CHANGES TO MEMBER COMMUNITY FAQs Q. How do I renew the members of my Troop? As a Troop Leader you can now easily renew all the members in your troop. When logged into MyGS, click on Troops. Change the drop down from Current Year to Next Year. When you click the drop down under renewal choice, you will see 3 options. Renew – This will prompt you to continue their registration to the new year. Do Not renew – Will no longer prompt you to renew when you login. The girl will still be a registered member of your troop until September 30th. Once you have selected the correct options next to all the girls and adults in your troop, select continue to move on to the payment screen. SM 04/16 CHANGES TO MEMBER COMMUNITY FAQs Q. Why am I seeing Inactive members in my troop? The girls haven’t been members for a while! The councils that worked with GSUSA as thought partners felt it would be beneficial to see girls who are no longer members of the troop in case they ever wanted to come back. There has been a lot of discussion since the launch and GSUSA is re-looking at this. We hope that the inactive members will no longer show in the next month or so. Q. A girl is not showing in my Troop. I am positive I registered her last year! What should I do? Please contact the registration help desk at 602-452-7030 or [email protected]. If you do not see a girl registered, it is important that we determine the reason she is not registered so that you can register her for programs, events and product sales. Q. What is CBC Expiration? CBC stands for criminal background check. You are now able to view the expiration date of all the volunteers registered to your troop. Q. Some members of my troop are showing pending.
