DESCRIPTION:
I. General Description: We hosted a barbeque to welcome our members back for another year.
II. Purpose & Relationship to Objectives of TBP: Fostering relationships within the Tau Beta Pi
Community
III. Organization & Administration: (in conjunction with another group?) ___ Yes X No
Used an online document to determine how many people would be attending, so that we knew how
much food to order. Requested a grill at an on campus apartment complex.
IV. Cost & Personnel Requirements: In total, we spent $80 on the food, drinks, dishes and eating
utensils. There were no personnel requirements.

VI. Overall Evaluation/Results (Be Specific): We accomplished our goal of having members socialize
in a comfortable setting.

I. General Description: Worked with Buffalo Niagara to clean up shoreline in site assigned by the
Riverkeeper organization.
II. Purpose & Relationship to Objectives of TBP: Community service within the Buffalo community.

Buffalo Niagara Riverkeeper organized the event. Our officers verified that our members knew where
they were going and that they had transportation.

DESCRIPTION:
I. General Description: Hosted a dinner with students and professionals from engineering companies.
II. Purpose & Relationship to Objectives of TBP: Enable our members to interact professionally and
try to obtain internship/job with companies present.
III. Organization & Administration: (in conjunction with another group?) ___ Yes X No
We contacted all the companies and set up the dinner at Banchetti’s, a banquet hall near school. We
prepared resume books to distribute to employers.
IV. Cost & Personnel Requirements: To reserve the banquet hall, it cost about $1500 dollars to
accommodate about 75 people. The members paid $20 to participate. The companies paid $100 for
a table to advertise their company, a book compiling all of our members’ resumes, and dinner for one
company representative. Companies could also choose to sponsor the event by donating up to $500.

professionally with employers in a small setting.
