PAID INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY Tottering Biped Theatre Burlington, ON Tottering Biped Theatre, a professional charitable status theatre company in Burlington, is seeking a fund-­raising intern for its summer “Shakespeare at the Rock” production at the Royal Botanical Gardens (RBG) at the Burlington-­Hamilton border. This is a new festival with tremendous potential: 2000 attended last year’s event at the RBG’s new Rock Gardens over 8 performances, which has now been extended to a three week run for August 2018. This position features mentoring in the areas of corporate sponsorship and individual giving with one of Canada’s most senior fundraisers whose experience includes leading campaigns for the Grand Theatre in London and the Development Director for the National Ballet of Canada. Ideal candidates are/intend to obtain full certification in corporate fundraising. This is a paid internship to occur over the course of 2-­3 months from June -­ August with some responsibilities falling outside of these dates as well.
