GP 88 can be considered a rod or casing
depending on what application it is used for.
This rod is a great "working rod" to run core
barrels, the Aqua-Lock, or independently for heat
loops, water sampling, injection work or seismic
shot holes. It comes in either external flush or
internal flush. This rod is inertia welded thick
walled tool joints to thinner walled mid bodies
with 4140 and 4130 respectively. The inside
diameter at the coupling is 2.5 inches and the
outside diameter at the couplings is 3.5 inches.
