The manufacturing processes involve high-tech CNC machines to ensure precise manufacturing quality and production plant efficiency. The equipment is manufactured on assembly and sub-assembly lines where quality control is carried out in line with both national and international standards. Every single unit manufactured is checked with electrical control equipment before packing to prevent any problems in the field. The HVAC market has been growing as an industry for the last 15 years. Renovent Units Renovent units are designed to meet the fresh air demand for shops, offices, hotels, day care centers, schools and similar premises. With the heat recovery exchanger, thermal efficiency of the unit exceeds 65% and with the perfectly engineered Radical blade AC fans Specific Fan Power of the unit goes as low as 0,80 kW/m-3/s-1 (EN 13779). With the standard remote LCD control panel and IQ Control the user is flexible with several control settings like 3 speed fans and unbalanced ventilation, weekly timer, filter monitoring and by-pass ventilation. More control settings are available with optional accessories. Class 0 flame retardant insulation is used for sound and thermal insulation of the unit. Models Renovent units are designed in 5 different types with nominal airflows varying between 500 m3/h and 2000 m3/h. Ventilation On Demand IAQ CO2 AH RH 1 Unit Specifications Control Complete Package Renovent units are equipped with IQ Control. IQ Control is capable of controlling AC fans, by-pass clamp, frost heater and operation timer. The control of fans can be done with 3 speed settings/unbalanced ventilation/ventilation on demand. 2 permanent temperature sensors measure return air/fresh air temperatures and control the bypass. Filters are checked with timer and the user is informed for filter maintenance periodically. Renovent units have by-pass ventilation as standard. With bypass ventilation it is possible to use fresh air directly to cool down indoors at summer. The controller checks both indoor and outdoor air temperatures and user set temperature and switches on/off the clamp integrated directly to the unit. ERP Compliant Fans Renovent units are equipped with innovative plug type Radical blade AC fans. Fan blades are high aerodynamic efficient backward curved design. Renovent units perform with lower energy consumption and sound level as a result of the fans used. With the new regulations, pressure drop in the ducting system shall also be minimized due to low energy consumption demand. Backward curved plug fan design also helps reduce the ducting systems total pressure drop. 2 Slim Design Low Sound Level Renovent units are designed to meet tough installation conditions like limited ceiling space. Renovent units are limited to a maximum height of 305 mm until Renovent 1000 and 445 mm until Renovent 2000. With the innovative RadiCal blade design and the decreased pressure drop of both components and internal design, the sound level of the unit is reduced along with the reduced fan speed. Air Flow (m3/h) 5 Components Heat Exchanger Eurovent Certified Aluminum cross flow plate heat exchangers are used in Renovent Units. Heat exchange efficiency differs according to indoor/ outdoor air temperatures and air flow. Inspection and maintenance to the heat exchanger is done from the heat exchanger service cover. Thanks to the engineered design, the heat exchanger can e removed easily without the need of disassembly of the unit itself. IQ Control is capable of controlling AC fans, by-pass clamp, frost heater and operation timer. The control of fans can be done with 3 speed settings/unbalanced ventilation/ventilation on demand. 2 permanent temperature sensors measure return air/fresh air temperatures and control the by-pass. Filters are checked with timer and the user is informed for filter maintenance periodically. By-Pass By-pass ventilation is done during summer and allows return air to by-pass the heat exchanger introducing fresh air at outdoor air temperature and cools down indoors. Renovent Units are equipped with by-pass ventilation as standard. With the pre-installed temperature sensors IQ Control checks return air temperature, fresh air temperature and user set temperature. According to the evaluation in the PCB, the by-pass clamp is opened automatically. Fan blades are high aerodynamic efficient backward curved design. Renovent units perform with lower energy consumption and sound level as a result of the fans used. With the new regulations, pressure drop in the ducting system shall also be minimized due to low energy consumption demand. Backward curved plug fan design also helps reduce the ducting systems total pressure drop. Casing Renovent units are designed to have a compact and service-easy construction. All of the components can be disassembled without the need of dismantling the unit and ducts. The height of the product is minimized to have a compact design ensuring the minimum pressure drop inside the unit at the mean time. Galvanized sheet metal is used for Renovent units and the unit is insulated against thermal leakage and sound with M1 class flame retardant Polyurethane foam. Filters Panel filters are used in Renovent units for standard filtration. Filtration class is G3 according to EN 779. G3 filters are medium efficiency disposable air filters suitable for ventilation applications with good dust holding capacity. The filters consist of a dry nonwoven extended surface fabric media and create low initial pressure drop. 7 Accessories Demand Controlled Ventilation Empty Home Ventilation On Demand; VOD, by use of additional CO2/IAQ or RH sensor the demand indoors is calculated and the fan speed settings are adjusted accordingly. To switch to VOD mode, a proper sensor must be installed and connected, to the duet system and also the user must select “VOD” on Select Mode menu of the Remote Control. Minimum Air Flow Minimum Air Conditioning Load Minimum Energy Consumption Partial Load When VOD (Ventilation On Demand) is selected the fan speed is controlled by the analog 0.10V input signal. At 0...1V the fans are running at minimum VOD speed and at 9...10V the fans are running at maximum speed for VOD. In between the fan speed is linearly controlled.
